Meet John Burgstiner

John M. Burgstiner serves as Founder and President of Logos Nutritionals, LLC (www.logosnutritionals.com), a pioneering Atlanta based health and nutrition company whose cutting edge supplements are known for “Bringing Hope to Life”.

According to John, Logos was founded out of a desire to bring honor and glory to God by making available authentic natural medicines that transform lives, and to lead natural health seekers to knowledge about how to properly nourish, protect and strengthen their bodies.

Following the legacy of his father, Carson B. Burgstiner MD, John is a second generation natural healer, speaker, writer, researcher and gifted nutritional formulator.  John earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia (Pre-Medicine curriculum) in 1983 and remains a lifelong student of biology and biochemistry, human physiology, nutrition and natural medicine. He has served as a contributing writer for The Patient’s Voice and World Health News, and is currently authoring his first book, entitled “Super Natural Health: Front Line Strategies for Every Home“.

Former CEO of Preventive Therapeutics, Inc. and a fifteen year veteran of the health care and nutrition industries, John has appeared on numerous radio and television programs to share valuable insights about natural health maintenance and restoration. For several years he wrote and delivered a riveting Health Fact From Fiction segment for the Beverly Kennedy Radio Show out of South Florida.  He has appeared several times on TBN’s worldwide Praise the Lord telecast and has taped numerous local shows, including TV 57’s Atlanta Live and spots for TBN’s Doctor to Doctor series.

In 2004, he founded Temple Builders, a non-profit health education ministry and empowerment curriculum that exposes the many ways that we as believers are being assaulted every day by schemes of the enemy that are designed to steal our health, vitality and thereby our witness. Through his compelling and informative lecture series, church fellowships and other large groups can share in his unique brand of humor and benefit from his passionate and scripturally based advocacy of natural healing and the Burgstiner Wellness Protocol.  The teachings of Temple Builders empower believers by arming them with knowledge and challenging them to accept responsibility for their health, nutrition and exercise decisions.

John and his wife Jahn (nee Mayer, originally from Savannah, GA) are blessed with three beautiful children, and are active members of Mt Zion Baptist Church (Snellville, GA) where John also serves as a Deacon.

  1. My other post is a poem I posted on Face~Book Notes because it is very long. It is called Nativity of Christ & the Baptist; & it is rhyming. I wish to publish the diet protocol which I have designed; yet, I have been slowed down by Morgellon’s: studies & debridement. I wish I could afford your protocol & my own; it being likely to heal, in itself. When I saw that you were listing Monolaurin, I knew you were a capable reference. It is certainly indicated for die~off of toxic stuff. I also read the statement on gaining the whole world, only to lose the soul. That verse was significant to me yesterday & I quoted it. [funny to see it again, so soon] Your work is admirable. Should I keep my baggies & do you want them? I refused to take a drug for delusional p.

    Dear John,

I’ve been on the Burgstiner Wellness Protocol for just one month now, and I must say that many of my initial symptoms for a possible super-parasite condition are decreased. Before taking the Protocol, I was on a continuing “downward” spiral but at least now feel stabilized….. I know your products are truly helping this body rebuild its immune system and detox. i had to go off the supplements for 3 days recently to prepare for a few tests, and I could not WAIT to get back on them. They are my security blanket!

I am thankful a company like yours exist that sells outstanding products in an ethical manner which are truly restoring health for various conditions. I read forum health postings, and so many are talking up your products; that’s how I first found you. Also appreciate the wisdom you impart about nutrition and health.

Thanks for an outstanding product line, and may God continue to bless you and yours.

    • Hi Doc,

I appreciate your respect for God’s word. Preaching or teaching does carry with it a tremendous responsibility, but also an awesome opportunity to be used by God. I can see already from your post on Mel’s site that you have been diligent in seeking and acquiring knowledge of the scriptures.

The greatest danger to a teacher of God’s word is not that he might misinterpret a passage of scripture and unknowingly present false doctrine. Paul warned against false apostles who “made a business” out of the gospel for profit. As always, it is all about your heart and your intent.

If you have a burden and a desire (and hopefully a gift) to teach, I encourage you to pursue it. If you wait until you are worthy to serve, you will never get there… we are all but empty vessels, and unless we are filled by Him, our greatest works are but hay and stubble…
